Every MIMOS computer, from our desktops to our notebooks are assembled in our in-house assembly plant using components from leading computer equipment manufacturers with stringent quality control to ensure that our products meet the highest reliability and quality standards.

At MIMOS Smart Computing, our commitment goes far beyond providing quality computers to the market. We also believe in delivering the best customer experience possible.
To achieve this, we have appointed a wide network of Authorized Dealers and Support Providers throughout Malaysia to service our customers. Our customers can also get assistance through our on-site maintenance service and telephone help-desk. In a move to serve our customers even more efficiently, MIMOS Smart Computing has also introduced an eSupport Portal. Now our customers can get online support 24/7.
 

Our Heritage
A history of technological leadership

MIMOS Smart Computing is not just another computer maker. We are part of the bigger MIMOS Berhad family that has been a leader in the Malaysian technology landscape since 1985.

First established on 1 January 1985 as the Malaysian Institute of Microelectronic Systems as a unit in the Prime Minister's Office, MIMOS evolved into a full-fledge organization under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in 1990. In January 1995, MIMOS was appointed Secretariat to the National IT Council (NITC). The NITC envisions an information-rich society in the line with the National Visio Policy, Vision 2020, and actively promotes the application and development of Information and Communications Technology in nation-building efforts.

In November 1996, MIMOS underwent a "corporatisation" exercise to further empower the organization with greater flexibility to create value-added innovations for industry for industry, society and the nation, thus MIMOS Berhad was born.

Since being established, MIMOS has achieved several noteworthy milestones. MIMOS was the 1 st to bring the Internet Malaysians with the setting up of the country's first Internet Service Provider JARING in 1991.

MIMOS Semiconductor Technology Centre, set up in 1997, was the 1 st. Malaysian wafer fabrication facility. Now known as MIMOS Semiconductor Sdn Bhd, the facility was set up as a catalyst for the growth of the microelectronics sector in Malaysia.
Focused on the vision of "A Better Tomorrow Through Sustainable Innovation in Leading Edge Technologies by Providing Thought Leadership and Leveraging World Class Capabilities", MIMOS Berhad continues to be a technology R&D organization that functions as an advisor to the Malaysian Government on technologies, policies and strategies relating to technology development.
